This library is a collection of the techniques employed and refined by Aaron and Nate. If I accidently try to select that same model as an individual plugin will it alert me that I already have it? Sorry if this has been answered, please point me to the relevant post if so, just a bit overwhelmed with all the options so I want to do it right.AG Drums Signature Samples P2P | ♥ | 686.11 MB WAV, NBKT, EXS, TCI

So if I choose one of those bundles will it alert me if I unknowingly try to select a plugin separately that's included in a software bundle I've already chosen? For example, say I get the Syntronk and it has a Mini Moog but for whatever reason I didn't see it featured. Now I have a ton of software to choose from but I don't want to get redundant plugins with different packages (Sample Tank 4, T-Racks 5 Deluxe, MixBox, etc). So I bought the iRig 49 Key Controller which is inbound from iK Multimedia.

So obviously I don't know if the same thing will happen to you, but if you install it and it keeps crashing your DAW, that's the first place I'd look. I happened to me with a Thinkpad running Win10, but you can find posts from people with Macs complaining about the same thing. The only reason I was even able to identify the problem was because I found this thread on google, and others like it, so I know plenty of people have had the same issue, and that thread has a link to the FAQ with the fix.
I don't know for sure that this will happen to anyone who tries to use custom install paths, but I've seen enough threads to know its happened to plenty of people. The problem persisted until I uninstalled/deleted everything and reinstalled at the default paths.

I did everything I knew how to do with the file paths I moved the SampleTank standalone program back onto my internal HDD, I moved the VSTs back, put the libraries back, deleted and reinstalled the libraries, I changed the sound file path within sampletank to wherever I moved the libraries to, tried both internal and external HD locations, everything. Then, I did the same thing with SampleTank, downloading the program, libraries, and VSTs straight to my SSD, and from day 1, I could run the standalone without problems, but inside any DAW, the second I closed SampleTank's GUI after selecting an instrument, it crashed. Other than that I'm totally happy with the ~$1.5k of software I got for $115, but the people with horror stories about IK's customer service were not joking, if anything goes wrong you're on your own.Ĭlick to expand. When I did the group buy, I changed the install path on their installer to put everything on an external SSD, and I installed Miroslav, MODO stuff, T-Racks, and literally everything else, to that drive, both the standalone programs and the VSTs/VST3s, and everything worked both standalone and in my DAW. SampleTank was the only program that did this MODO Bass and Drums and Miroslav and everything worked fine from day 1. and reinstall everything at the default file paths, and not only does it now work, but it also freed up - not exaggerating - 60GB of space on my HDD, and that's after the reinstallation. I had to uninstall the program and then manually delete all traces of any libraries, presets, etc. Apparently IK has been aware of this bug for years but instead of fixing it, they just posted a hard-to-find FAQ on their site. SampleTank was crashing any DAW I opened it within for the first week I had it, and after having their weakass customer service brush me off repeatedly, I found multiple threads including on IK's own site where people have been having the exact same problem with custom installation paths since like 2018 (just google "SampleTank crashing Reaper/Pro Tools/etc"). Just a PSA to anyone getting SampleTank, beware of using custom install paths, for the program itself or even the libraries or VSTs.
